I am not yet married and I do not have a child, but Ana-Clara is for me as an own child, she has the downīs syndrom or mongolism. I am looking avter her since July last year and I am always thinking: "All what you are doing, you should do it well", and I can say it wasnīt unsuccessful.
In the beginning Ana-Clara wa like dead: where you put her, she was lying stiff and didnīt move at all and didnīt participate in anything. Now Ana Clara has completely changed, is lively and the expression of her face is very happy. She creeps, she starts to speak some works, she is able to stand on her own and she starts to walk a few steps.
For me it is unbelievable to see that through my collaboration this child was able to develop in such a way. this is a great joy also for the family, which never believed, that this was possible.
At the same time I am also a little bit sad, because if the child can walk alone, we shall be dismissed from the project. Though I shall loose a child, I know, that I have prepared this child for a nearly normal life.
to be continued...
